I have been riding since I was a little kid, but have owned horses since I was fourteen.  I spent my teenage years going to Pony Club, competing in Dressage, Show Jumping and mostly Eventing.

I am now a riding instructor with Riding for the Disabled Mt Barker, which I love doing.  It is great to help special kids and adults create a relationship with their horse and learn to ride, when some of them have trouble walking and bonding with people.

I joined the Strathalbyn Adult Riding Club in 2009 and absolutely loved it, especially Janene's lessons.  I have had trouble finding the right horse for me and so have not been a regular out on Wednesday nights.  I now have a wonderful Clydie cross and look forward to getting out there and having fun!
